Valentines Day preparation was in full swing at our house this year.
Marie had the idea to make a "horse" box.
This ended up being a family event with much input from Mom and Dad.
Bennett made a Jake the Pirate box with one piece of paper and 75 pieces of tape.
However, no pictures were allowed according to Bennett.
Both kids celebrated with the class friends and teachers.
They came home with way too much candy but they had a fun time exploring and trying it all!
On Valentine's Night, Andy had the opportunity to work on call for the Sioux City Musketeer Hockey game. He got free tickets so we decided to make it a family event. Marie and Bennett really enjoyed the game and all the craziness. Brooks stayed asleep the entire game even though we were right on the ice in the action...this kid can sleep through anything!
2 slushies, 1 big bag of popcorn, and 4 fist fights on the ice later, we headed home with some exhausted kids!
