Brooks - 2 months

Well, Brooks you have had an eventful month!

Not only did you give your parents a GIANT scare with your adventure in the hospital, but you are also smiling, playing, and even trying to move a little more!

You like to lay under your play arch and try to hit the ball. It was such a surprise to you the first day you did this!  Your whole body got so excited!

 Your big sister and big brother love to spend time with you.  Although lately it seems you enjoy watching them be silly more than when they hold you.

You also like to lay near them when they are doing big kid things like coloring, putting a puzzle together, watching a movie, or reading books. Bennett always offers a crayon or puzzle piece for you to hold. He thinks of you all the time and spends most of his day talking about you and making sure you are taken care of.

 Unfortunately at your 2 month appointment you had to have your first round of shots...you let everyone know how you felt about those but calmed down quickly.

You were smiling and flirting with the nurses and doctor throughout your whole visit.

At 2 months you are 13 lb 12 oz and 24 inches long.

You are filling out nicely just like your big brother and big sister did. 

You still wake up every 3-4 hours at night to be fed but you go back to sleep pretty quickly. You are content most of the time but truly love to be held. Noise has never bothered you and you have fallen asleep on your own in your crib amidst the chaos of our busy house several times now.

You still love your bath and seem to enjoy our singing to you. You are talking and trying to giggle - especially at Bennett and Daddy.

We have taken you to see friends and mommy and daddy's work offices. Everyone comments on your blue eyes and perfect little face. 

You are such a joy Brooks. 

We love you oh so much!
