Life as a Coyote

After Andy worked on Saturday morning we decided to take a trip to Vermillion to watch the Coyote Men's Basketball Game.
The kids were anxious to go back to the Dome and so were the parents.
This was Brooks' first trip to Vermillion...too bad he wasn't even awake for it.

The game was uneventful but fun all the same.
We saw Charlie the Coyote, visited Papa's picture, started the brainwashing to "hate State" with Brooks, ate snacks, caught a few passes from the USD Football team, jumped in the jump house, and even caught a free T-Shirt.

After the game we drove around town showing the kids our homes and favorite places.
Unfortunately we couldn't show them our house from when we were first married...it was torn down.
I was pretty upset because I can't even find a picture of it...the only thing left on the property is a little tree that we used to put lights on at Christmas time.

We ended our trip with a meal at Little Italy's - the greasiest and best pizza in town.
We ordered one for the night and one to go - the same "Saturday Special" we used to do when we were first married.
The kids were stuffed and ready for bed by the time we were done.

It was a great day to be a Coyote!
