Our weekend was full of house projects. More painting, more cleaning, and more fixing.
The house is really starting to look like ours and we are so happy with the way it is looking!
We did take time out on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon to celebrate Mother's Day.
We enjoyed a delicious dinner with Papa and Grammy on Saturday night followed by chocolate treats.
Papa, Grammy, and Nathan have helped us work on the house and we are so thankful!
We wouldn't be this far if it wasn't for their help.
The kids had so much fun playing with Uncle Nathan. He was our first overnight visitor in the new house!
After all their work, Marie & Bennett enjoyed a relaxing soak in the jacuzzi tub.
I hope they don't get used to this....it's mommy's tub :)
On Sunday, we met the whole Van Beek family for lunch.
I took a photo of our huge group taking over the restaurant.
We had a great time...I'm sure the rest of the restaurant wasn't as happy.
We haven't taken a family photo in a long time...thanks for the cooperation Bennett.
I enjoyed priceless handmade gifts from Marie and Bennett.
Brooks only woke up 1 time that night - that was his gift to me
I truly love being a mom. It is hard, messy, and at times so overpowering that it is hard to breathe.
But, it truly means everything to me.
