As mentioned before, Marie has truly enjoyed her school year at Holy Cross Pre-K.
Her teachers and class are special and always going to hold a special place in our hearts.
Since Marie knew she was going to be moving at the end of the year, she asked early on if she could have her birthday party early so her friends from school could join her.
This past Saturday, we celebrated her birthday with a sort of "going away" party.
Marie invited 5 girls from her class: Gracie, Nina, Savannah, Adeline, and Alex.
We decided to play old fashioned games like pin the tail on the donkey/horse, twister, and we had a scavenger hunt.
The girls had a blast playing and we we happy everyone could come celebrate with us.
As requested, Marie had a horse cake made by Dad & Mom.
Although she is not officially 6 years old yet, it is still a shocker to see 6 candles on that cake!
She has grown and learned so much this past year.
A big thank you to Ms. Eileen, her teacher.
She has taught Marie many things, but the most exciting thing for us parents to see was the confidence building Ms. Eileen did during the year. Marie went into Pre-K shy, nervous, and unsure of herself at times. She is leaving confident and ready for Kindergarten!
We were all sad to say goodbye to her this week but we know we will keep in touch!
