Halloween is here and we are doing a lot to celebrate!Friday night was the annual Children's Garden Halloween Party.
Last year if you remember, Marie did a lot of staring blankly in her Jack 0' Lantern onesie and we tried to paste 1 little bow in her hair.
This year was a whole different story.
Marie was dressed as Dorothy. We thought about having Charlie go as Toto, but somehow I don't think he would have enjoyed being drug around in a basket...We were busy with games, sensory water tubs, and even a haunted house!
Marie also enjoyed seeing her friends and favorite teachers - especially Ms. Barb.
That night we stayed up late and waited for our guests - Grandma Nel, Aunt Mindy, Alissa & Abby. They joined us at the Blank Park Zoo's Night Eyes Halloween Celebration.
This consists of walking through the zoo while trick-or-treating.Along the way we were visited by some of our favorite characters from Clifford & Curious George to the Wizard of Oz - oh, and some very special princesses for Miss Alissa.
It was a little chilly out so Marie was traded in her Dorothy costume for a fuzzy bee. Unfortunately she was still a little under the weather from the past week, but she seemed to enjoy the candy, ducks, and characters.
